Position Summary: The Lifestyle Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing an activities program that reflects the varied interests of the residents and provides them with meaningful and enriching activities including social, educational, recreational, and culinary programs. The Lifestyle Director will recruit, coordinate, and engage resident artis, and help ensure employee involvement in the activities program. The Lifestyle Director is a part of the management team of the community.

Organizational Responsibilities:

 
  • Journey Visionary: Work with on-site team members to prioritize solutions and provide frameworks that will drive journey metrics.
  • Passion & Innovation: Deeply understand issues and opportunities and demonstrate relentless focus on solving them through innovative solutions.
  • Organizational Ambassador: Engage with residents, prospective residents, associates, and stakeholders to understand needs and lead with the values of the company culture.
  • Project Management: Create and maintain clear and sequenced plans to successfully launch projects.
  • Change Management: Experienced in leading cross-functional teams through change programs and projects, leverages frameworks and influence modeling to drive awareness and outcomes.
  • Community Service: Participate in activities outside the normal course of daily business that will enhance both the Company and your stature in the marketplace. This includes participation in industry related associations and groups to further your own development and the business goals of the company. As real estate professionals, it is important to take pride in the communities in which we do business and to be active in those communities.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 
  • Oversee the implementation of the property's Life Enrichment Program guidelines for residents in accordance with Gallery Residential's resident rights.
  • Develop, plan and participate in the daily and weekly Life Enrichment programming.
  • Create and maintain a monthly activities calendar that reflects the varied interesests of the residents and community, providing all with enriching opportunities.
  • Coordinate special events, outings, culinary events and activities that promote engagement
  • Ensure that residents are encouraged and welcomed to attend activities that are of interest to them
  • Periodic reporting based on calendar periods.
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing.

Work Hours:


This position is scheduled for 40 hours in a regular work week. Hours of operation vary by site, but typical sites are open from 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday, Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm, and on Sunday 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Lifestyle Directors must be available to work on weekends as required by business and must be able to perform the essential job functions unaccompanied.

Qualifications and Skills:


 
  • Experience as a leasing professional
  • Up to one year of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with event management.
  • Working knowledge of property management platforms (i.e., Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM) preferred.
  • Marketing skills with the ability to execute a property marketing plan through outside marketing, social media and resident functions (familiar with the local market) preferred.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.
